Gigabyte EP45-UD3R Xeon Compatibility?

Hi, I have a Gigabyte EP45-UD3R motherboard, LGA775 w/P45 chipset.

Does anyone know if this motherboard is compatible with Intel Xeon processors, specifically Core 2 Quad based Xeons?

The official CPU support list on the Gigabyte site does not say anything about Xeon processors, but I've seen a Q45 motherboard that had official support for some Xeon processors.

Slightly off topic: there's an unofficial modded version F12 bios available for the EP45-UD3R:

I have a Xeon 3110 on my EP45-UD3R

I've used an E3110 on several boards from Asus and Gigabyte and even ASRock, and it worked fine in all of them (even overclocking).
