Gigabyte DS3 OC question

This is my first Gigabyte board, but for some reason in the BIOS i cannot find where to OC my ram. I have an E6600 and id like to get up to 3.2-3.6 range if possible. CPU-Z shows my timings off as well and i cannot find that to manually set it in the BIOS either.

Anyone with this board shed some light on me? 🙂

Thanks

Gigabyte boards have hidden things in their BIOS, including the RAM settings. In the BIOS just press CTRL+F1 and everything will show up for you 😀 Have fun!

Yep, at the main bios screen do the CTRL+F1 thing and then when you go into the MB Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T.) screen there will be a whole bunch of new options.

This is a little Gigabyte weirdness... they will let you overvolt everything on your system but heaven forbid you try to adjust the RAM timings!

Try page 43 of the manual ..

Ram will follow the CPU Host Frequency multiplied by the System Memory Multiplier ...

My old ASUS seemed so much more straight forward to OC then this Gigabyte. Anyone got a OC for dumbies specifically for the DS3? I got good DDR2 800 with micron D9's. Shouldnt be too hard i wouldnt think.
