What is the major difference between these 2 boards becides the heatpipe cooling system...I was going to get a P5B Deluxe but they seem somewhat hard to obtain and the one retailer that has them doesn't have the memory I want. I'm bad luck :)

So anyway I am trying to bundle all my parts together so I don't incur extra shipping fees. DS3 was my second choice, but I'm willing to spend more (obviously since I was going to get a P5B Deluxe) and was wondering what the DQ6 did/added to be a benefit.

DQ6 has the Intel ICH8R, Dual PCI Express x16, 8 SATA, Firewire, 12 phase power (check out the rows of capacitors surrounding the CPU Socket), Quad Bios, eSATA
DS3 has the Intel ICH8, single PCI Express x16, 6 SATA

In other words, the DQ6 offers a boatload more than the DS3

You could actually run 2 separate PCIE VGA cards in the DQ6, one ATI and one Matrox. Have 2 displays, one for pure 2D for Photoshop work, the other a pure gaming display

Wait a bit and the DS4 which is a cross between the DQ6 and the DS3 will be out

DS4 is not slated for North American retail release as I recall reading. Anyway I managed to find a P5B Deluxe in stock and ordered.
