just got a Dq6. I am using the Intel Southbridge SATA raid controller with two mirrored drives. As an earlier messaged stated, was having problems getting the PC to accept my drivers disc. Got that solved.

But for some reason during install Windows sees two"unknown drives" and I have to install my OS on drive F:

After I get all Xp installed and the run the gigabyte CD that installs all drivers, the drive are actually two USB drives.

I do have my gigabyte Sata controller enabled as "IDE"

Suggestions? It doesn't matter if I use the Intel Sata controller or the Gigabyte sata controller, both want to install XP on "F"

Wow, have I "stumped" the board? 8 views and nothing. :)

Update: It was the damn SD/CF mitsumi card reader. nothing in the card reader, but yet it was showing up as drives and taking my C: and D: drives. unplugged it from usb2, installed windows XP on to C: no problems
