Where is it? I don't see the Brix S on Newegg yet. But it was in one of their videos, the interview with Colin Brix from Gigabyte, apparently the box was named after him, LOL.

That Newegg link, is just Brix and Brix Pro, not Brix S.

There are 17 different Brix models at Gigabyte's web site.

Edit: And that Anandtech article, isn't about the Brix S, it's about the Haswell Brix (normal) units. I know it says Brix S in the article title, but that is referring to the IDF pics at the very bottom. The model numbers and specs indicated in the article are NOT the "S", which can be seen by the listed expansion specs, which show an mSATA, and not a 2.5" HDD.

Nope. Those are not the "S" models. The "S" stands for "Storage". The Brix S are about 3/4 inch taller than the regular Brix models (on the bottom, under the motherboard / I/O). Look at that Anandtech article you linked, and look at the pre-release pictures at the bottom.

Those Brix have the motherboard right down to the bottom of the box, judging by the USB 3.0 ports. So they cannot be the Brix S.

These are the "Brix S". They have extra room on the bottom for a HDD. They have an "H" in the model number. I did a search on Newegg for several of these model numbers, and they just bring up a list of Brix, without that model.

now that's a genuine Brix S, thank you. Newegg can be such asses about new products. They refuse to carry them until sold out of the older ones.
