I have a Gigabyte GA686-BX and flashed the bios a while back. I have the most recent bios update. The thing is, when my comp POSTS and lists the items found (primary and secondary master/slave etc) it says 'Found CD-ROM', where as it used to say 'Quantum Fireball 7.6 EL, and IDE 36x CD-ROM'. I have noticed some system instability since this as well. Are they connected? How do I fix it?
