Gigabyte Aurora Water Cooling

QueBert

Saw the Aurora setup at my local Pc Club, looks pretty interesting. One thing that confused me, the heatsin had a regular fan on it. I'm thinking about getting the Aurora case, and this water cooling setup seems to go perfectly with it. But why would you need a fan on a heatsink that has water cooling it already? I'm guessing this system isn't the most efficient, @ 150 bucks it's decently priced, but is it worth even that??

You mean this?

That fan is to blow air over the pwicm's near the cpu slot. Its kinda pointless, yet alone worthless.

Hows the kit in performance? *laughable* at most. Stay clear away from this as you can get corsair nautilius 500 for near the same price. And that kit i recomend over this setup any day of the week.

Can i ask your budget in h2o cooling? if your going sub 200, then get the nautilius500. It will perform better then the tuniq tower.

Sub 100?? go tuniq tower. You'll pwn any sub 100 dollar h2o kit.

Over 200?? look for my guide and get a kit at petratech. Preferably the Elite series, which would pwn both the tuniq tower and all the other kits i mentioned with a GPU and Northbridge block added on. 😛
