Gigabyte are doing cases... When did that happen?

I spotted this through an ad running at the top of the page actually (they're advertising seems to be pretty aggressive on anandtech atm)


Seems they have three different cases that you can see here. Seem pretty futuristic looking and seem to promise good cooling.

Their 3D Aurora perhaps looks the most interesting and seems to offer the best cooling out of all of them.

At a guess thought, cooling probably isn't as good as the P180 or P150 at least in cooling/noise ratio.

I think its a pretty good case. 120mm fans, holes for external watercooling.

part i don't like about the case is the blue with in the middle.

the 3d aurora looks like a friggin transformer. I don't like the look. I say you go for something clean looking and reliable.

Iv got one, and i like it. I gues each to their own 🙂 IMO...i have worked with P180's and the 3D Aurora's build quality is much better (eg. No plasic clips, hinges, cheap doors). Its got great cooling, and IMO its one of the best Aluminium cases you can get for the price. Now you can say lian li are better...but i would expect them to be alot better since i pay atleast double the price for one.
