I just bought the Aorus P750W yesterday and i feel like i was scammed by the seller as he didn't have the Bitfenix Whisper that i was looking to buy and so he recommended me the Aorus unit. I quickly took a look at the PSU tier list from LTT forum and the P850 was in the Tier A territory (which is a good thing).
The thing is i didn't notice that it was the P850W not the P750W and the P750W is no where in the list. Are they the same unit and i should settle with my P750W ? Or should i go for a return and grab something like a RX-M or a Focus Plus ? They sell for the same price in where i live.

I'm not sure why you don't see the P750w, but they do offer both of the units.

That said, I'm not a big fan of the power supplies Gigabyte offers, and I would personally go with the Corsair RMx updated 2018 version (also TX-M), or the Seasonic Focus Plus. The Seasonic Focus is a rather dated platform, so you would want to get the newer Plus units(gold or platinum rated) versions:

Corsair doesn't offer a "RX-M", so I think you likely meant one of the two Corsair models I listed.

Thanks a lot for replying. I saw all the news articles about this PSU but i can't find it listed in any PSU tier list. Even the updated one on LTT forums has the P850W unit listed in Tier A (High-End).
So my concern is, are both the P750W and P850W Identical ?
Or should i return the PSU all together and get another one from Corsair or Seasonic ?

I answered that above. I don't place a high value on Gigabyte power supplies, and would personally get one of the units I recommended above. In fact, many of their previous models were not highly reviewed. Both Corsair and Seasonic have a much higher reputation (and much longer rack record) selling highly-rated power supplies.

As far if the P850W and P750W being "identical", they won't be as one is a larger unit, and likely uses larger capacitors (which is a common thing across most of the PSU manufacturers). However, design wise they should be the same.
