I recently purchased one of these cards I actually pre-ordered it the second it was available on newegg.

anyway the card has been running amazing and I have not a single complaint until I noticed that when running in OC mode in OC_Guru II 1.86 "latest version" that my base/boost was 1190/1279 instead of 1190/1291 as advertised on all the websites. if I increase the MHz it increases both base and boost. i'd like it to just run at the OC speed it is suppose to.

Does anyone know a way to correct this, I really don't want to do an RMA as the card is performing great and is nice and quiet, but if im loosing performance then I guess I will.

Why would you return it? Hell the chip can boost to 1500MHz on the stock BIOS. What's wrong with a manual overclock?

Also it probably *is* boosting to 1291MHz but only when you are below 63C. Most Maxwell cards automatically down-clock 1 bin when they hit above mid 60C. It's simply what the BIOS tells it to do. If you want to avoid that turn on KBoost or manually flash a custom-BIOS.

the card is below 40 degrees the boost amount doesn't change in oc guru. And i'd just like it to work as advertised. I know its not a big difference but still.

Did you try to increase the temp and power limit? This helped my boost by about 100mhz give or take a little.

Move sliders to right, minimize your oc program to system tray, enjoy games.

If that doesn't work, send it to me for testing. I'll hit it with games for a couple weeks to see if the performance is up to standard and then ship it back to you with a form listing all the games I tested on it.

My 970 flips between 1418 and 1405 in some games, stock boost 2.0 haven't changed anything. I think this is normal behavior.

OC it manually and see how far you get. You might have an awesome chip you can run at 1500 without really having to mess around with it! :p

Its not compatible. Have a vpn to protect you when using things like this. It may cause viruses and malwares to your unit.

false advertising is false advertising. Today it's 13mhz. Tomorrow it's 26mhz.

Just saying.
