I wanted to set up additional storage with Raid0, but Windows won't load:

(Primary Master) - 200gb IDE - Windows Installation - Drive C:

(SATA 0) - 200gb SATA - RAID 0
(SATA 1) - 200gb SATA - RAID 0
Using Gigabyte SATA I/O (Ctrl + G)

======= 400gb RAID 0 - Drive E:

When Onboard SATA in Bios is set to RAID/IDE, Windows won't load. Set to anything else, my C:\ Windows loads fine. Any help? Is there a way to use RAID 0 on the other Intel SATA? Thanks

when you set the sata bios in to raid, check the hard drive boot order, i have seen on some board that it changes the hard drive boot order ie.. putting the raid drives before the ide drive and not allow it to boot.

checked. well, there's no installation on the raid drive, so even if it was in the wrong order, it would load the drive with windows. the blue xp scrolly bar probably scrolls twice, then restarts to post/bios. repeat :(

No, not possible. The only potential Raid ports are the 2 JMicron (AKA "Gigabyte") ports. All of the Intel ports are NOT Raid capable. That board uses the non-Raid ICH8 chipset. There exist other boards that use the ICH8R chipset.
