Gigabyte 965P DS3 Oddities

Wondering if anybody else has come across these problems. I've seen a few reports of the same things happening to others with this board, but no real solutions. Even seen a few threads on different forums saying that an RMA didn't clear the problem.

System Specs:

Gigabyte 965P DS3 Rev. 3.3
C2D e6420
2x1GB Gskill DDR2-800 (5-5-5-15@+.2v in BIOS)
eVGA 7950GT
Samsung 400GB SATA HDD
Seasonic Super Silencer 460 PSU

I built this rig about 5-6 months ago. It ran flawlessly for about 3 months and then I moved to a new apartment. About 1 month after the apartment move I started getting crazy BSOD's almost every time I used the PC. I narrowed it down to my RAM, seems somehow during the move, BIOS moved back to default settings. I bumped the voltage back up to .2 over stock and it ran fine for about a week. After that, I started getting random hangs, no BSOD, just a frozen unresponsive PC. A couple days later, the PC just quit loading Windows altogether. I turned it off and left it alone for a few days while I was out of town. When I returned I decided to work on it again. I booted the machine only to have it go past the BIOS screen and get "DISK BOOT FAILURE". I powered the machine down, tried reconnecting cables just to be sure and booted it once more. I heard tons of clicks come out of the drive, not really grinding, just the click you hear when your drive powers up. It just clicked like that over and over and over. I assumed the worst and figured my HDD had failed. It wasn't really old, but I had bought it second hand so I figured it was just dead....

Here's where my current problems start. I bought a new drive. (Old one was a Samsung 200GB SATA, new one is the 400GB). Windows installed fine, got everything back to normal. Now I'm getting the same clicks again. Only now they're not as bad. I'll be surfing or playing WoW and I start to hear the clicks and the machine freezes, sounds loop etc. But it stops clicking after a few seconds and the PC just goes on like normal. It's not very frequent anymore either, about once every 8hrs of computer use. I have tried swapping to new SATA cables, moving ports on the native controller, it's still doing it. I have a really hard time believing that this drive would be faulty as well. In all honesty i'm willing to bet that if I hook up the old drive it would work just fine except for the symptoms I have now. I'm just out of ideas. Everything now leads me to believe it's board or PSU related, however I have no other signs that the PSU would be bad. Voltages read fine. No bad sectors in the HDD, no SMART info. Every once in awhile I'll boot the PC and get the "DISK BOOT FAILURE" message. If I power down, wiggle the SATA cable and reboot it goes away and boots normally.

Any ideas? I mentioned in the sub-topic that I had PS/2 issues with this board too. I don't know why but the mouse and keyboard on startup would freeze and not work. I solved this by just moving to USB instead of PS/2 but I'm about at my wits end with this board.

Thanks ahead of time for any help.
