After just 2 weeks, my chipset fan for the 8SG667 is starting to fail on me. It has become extremely loud and my computer now slows down after extended use.
Has anyone replaced this fan? Would replacing it with just a heat spreader and thermal adhesive a better solution? Also, can anyone recommend a quiet replacement fan for the motherboard and a reputable retailer?
