Can these two slots be used for normal IDE?
Or are they only for raid?
Both my IDE 1 and 2 are both used, and I want to put another ide drive in.
Want to make sure it will work if I plug it into IDE 3

Yes. there is an option in bios to set it either as a RAID controller or an ATA controller. You just have to install the correct drivers for either one and you are GTG.
