i get a constant BEEEEEP from my motherboard because it thinks the CPU fan has failed, although it is plugged into the CPU_FAN 3 pin on the motherboard, and works fine, but in bios it hows the RPMS as 0.

1) Are you sure it's plugged into the correct header? Look closely at your mobo manual to make sure.

2) Does the fan have rpm monitoring? What brand/model of fan or heatsink is it?

3) If your real sure about the above you can always go into the BIOS and disable the fan rpm alarm.

3 is what I have done for now.

1) I am POSITIVE it is in the correct slot, but i will mess around with it, it is blatantly named CPUI_FAN.

2) Vantec Aeroflow TMD for P4 is what I Have.

So you need to go to Vantecs' site and see if you can find out if those TMD fans have rpm monitoring. If you can't find it on the site, send an email to their tech support.
