Im using Rivatuner 2.06 right now. I have the latest drivers from nVidia the official ones 169.21 which RT says does not support... but i guess thats fine.

Now When i run RT it shows my card running at 2d mode with reduced core clock and memory clock and shader clock.
I let RT log the clocks, temp and fan speed which btw is at 100% while card shows 47C on idle...

CLocks i have on 2d mode are core: 450mhz, memory: 700mhz, shader 1188mhz
Clocks by default this card is supposed to be are Core: 700mhz, memory: 970mhz

I gamed for like 20 mins... n then while game still on i Alt Tab to check my temp and clocks...

Temp as expected is at about 63C and clocks are still the same as in 2d mode... This was checked from the RT log and from the RT hardware monitoring which both were active running while i was gaming...

My Psu is an enermax 450W with a single 12v @ 33A... which had no trouble to feed my last 8800GTS 640... I thot the GTs need less power then those GTSes. But i did get a message about my card not gettin enough power...

Now I ran 3dmark06 yesterday and i got about 11881 which is not too bad... so im confused... whats goin on? Is this some bug of Rivatuner now or is my card relle stuck on 2d mode???

Solved... I reset the card and now its fine.... also changed the two 4 pin connections for the adapter (6ping Pci-e) in a way so that they dont come from the same rail.... I think that might ve helped too... eventhough i have a Single rail 12v on my PS.

People correct me if im wrong (but good job on fixing it yourself, finding out it was a PSU issue), but arent 2d and 3d speeds the same by default for these cards?
