I have the Gigabyte 8-iEXP board. I installed Win XP Pro BEFORE I added the onboard Promise RAID drivers according to the readme file on the Gigabyte setup CD.
I downloaded the most current files from the Gigabyte website and installed all of them for the board.
Tried going into the device manager and setting up the driver that way... to no avail.
Tried running the setup program from the website... to no avail.
Win XP lists the device in the manager, but the evil yellow question mark won't go away.
Anyone have this problem? Any way to solve it? Gigabyte's website is fairly useless on this topic.
