Gigabyte 7VRXP/7VRX mobos

Does anyone have any experience with either of these KT333 mobos? Is the 7VRXP significantly better than the 7VRX?

i just ordered one and read the reviews and it seems like a good board...not on the top, but it has lots of features like usb 2.0 raid onboard lan etc...

These are great, stable boards. The difference between the two is that the vrxp has the Promise raid and Ata 133 controller.

the GA-7VRX has Ata 133 too link

the only difference i can see is the RAID controller.

i am after one of these boards & can get the GA-7VRX for AU$168 (US$88)
i am not concerned about RAID BUT i do have 4 IDE devices now & want to add a DVD player too....
what to do , what to do....?!??!

nice system man. the board will only better it if ya get the PC2700 RAM (Generic Samsung preferably)

what kind of cooling you have there to be running @ that speed ??

i got a 1700, used the gigabyte software to push up the FSB (bios didnt support it) but it crashes at 145 FSB (and only goes in 5 increments therefore stuck at 140)

I pushed my crucial ram up to 160 at Maxed out ultra settings, and im pretty sure my 1700+ was the thing that couldnt handle it because i didnt get memory errors but i would get random reboots when running 3dmark etc...

Memory will be coming down more, so ill keep my crucial for now, considering the small difference pc2700 would make considering my crucial can run so fast.
