So I have 2 issues with this card and would love some input on them.
The first issue that is during cut scenes in some games, the card makes a high pitched whining sound. Is this normal with cards sometimes? Just seems like a really weird issue. It's completely fine during actual gameplay.
The second is that the card is voltage locked. I really should have done some research on this. I read reviews of it, and it overclocked great so I went with it, only to find out the revision I have is voltage locked. Does anyone know of a way to get past this? I read up on it and it seems like it's locked through the actual hardware, but I hope that's not the case. It was $340(after tax) and I have a $30 rebate to send in, so it's not a huge loss, but would like to know if other people would go with a different card instead after finding this out.
