Gigabyte 785GMT-USB3 + Phenom X6

Hi All,

I just purchased a system and assembled it. When I power on the system, either my PC freezes after showing BIOS screen or keeps rebooting itself during post (I see only the BIOS welcome screen, could'nt see what happening behind the screen).

MB : Gigabyte 785GMT-USB3
CPU : AMD phenom II x6 1055T
Mem : 1333Mhz DDR-III 2Gx2
PSU : Cooler master 500W

Only motherboard components are connected to PSU and not DVD or HDD drive.

Not sure how proceed further. Need help!

Which memory are you using?

Is your memory on the qualified vendors list? Try one stick of memory but, make sure it's in the correct slot for that configuration.

I'm using transcend's JetRam. JM1333KLU-2G

Check with gigabyte to see if you need to flash bios before the x6 will work.

Thankyou everyone, I got the MB flashed to the latest version, and system works now correctly.
