Just noticed that my GA-MA78GM-S2H is feeding my X3 8650 cpu 1.3 vcore when the normal voltage should be 1.25. I've brought it down to 1.26 using Overdrive but was wondering if anyone else with this mobo is seeing this problem?

...Why didn't you just go into the BIOS and manually set it? :X

My Biostar NF4 S939 board used to overvolt slightly under load. I would set the BIOS for 1.35v, and it would get up near 1.4v under Prime95, measured with CPU-Z.

It does on my GA-MA78GM-S2H. Have Rev. 1.1 running a BE-2400 X2 though.

i have a rev 1.0 board running the F5 bios. what i've noticed is that whatever i set my vcore at in the bios, my board will automatically bump it up about 0.025 V, consistently for a range of settings. So, for example, i have vcore set to "stock" at 1.35 V for my x2 5000+, but in the bios, vcore reads as 1.375 V. In windows, it ranges from 1.375 V - 1.41 V, depending on load.

i am also able to lower the vcore on my board. in fact, i ran into some gaming stability issues when attempting to undervolt to 1.3 V or so :p

I forget which rev/bios I'm running on mine, but I did flash with the latest bios that was available (about a month ago). I used it with 5000+ BE in a SFF case for my wife's system. It gave me option to undervolt it. Currently running it 3ghz (15x200) @1.20v in bios (about 1.25 in the os).
