Here's my situation, I'm hoping someone here might be able to lend me a hand.

System Specs :
-A7N8X Deluxe
-Athlon XP 3200+
-Gigabyte 6800 GT
-1GB Corsair XMS PC3200
-Antec TRU330 PS
-1 case fan, 1 hd, 1 cd-drive

Symptoms
-Application crashes after 45 - 60 minutes of use (EverQuest 2)
-The crash always seems to occur during a visually intense scene
-Visual artifacts are noticeable in-game immediately (always in water)
-I have heard of the EQ2 stuttering problems with the 6800's, though none seem to cause crashes
-After one of these crashes I ran 3DMark05 immediately, and it took my whole system down (immediate reset)
-3DMark05 normally runs just fine
-The temperature on my system and video card seem normal after one of these EQ2 crashes (system : 46c, video : 60c)
-The gigabyte 6800 GT is brand new. I was previously using a 5200FX (nonultra) with zero problems

Addition Info
-I used Vtuner 2.0 (software from Gigabyte) the get the temp on the Vid card
-I used SpeedFan to get the temp of my cpu

Questions
Could my Gigabyte 6800 GT be bad?
Could my power supply not be up to snuff?
Could something else be wrong?

Thats what I was thinking also. I'm going to stress the system next with Doom3.

Did you update the BIOS recently? You can do that by checking for updates in the Vtuner

Gigabyte has not released any updates for this card yet :(. Or are you referring to the motherboard bios? That I may be able to update.

the voltages are low, not like extremely low, but low enough to pose a problem I'd bet...

if you have easy access to another power supply, try that first...it's easy afterall.

About 2 weeks ago I clicked on check for updates within the Vtuner utility and it downloaded a number of files some of which conatined the word BIOS in the name. I was not standing in front of it during the next reboot. Something got updated though because my temps got lower .. although that may be due to the weather :) Outside temps were in the 60s 2 weks ago .. today it was 34.

Ahh, actually kick off an update in Vtuner! I'll try that.

I'll try to get my hands on a better PS also.
