I just traded my Sapphire 4870 512mb for a Gigabyte 4870 1gb and this one has 1.2V stock voltage, while my Sapphire had 1.26V.
Is this normal? I had the impression that all 4870 cards have stock 1.26V!?

The idle/2d voltage is 1.203v, but the load should be 1.263v. Check ATT for the voltages list in the bios, as you should have 1.263v in the list.

Yes in ATT, there is 1.26V, as you say. Didn't seen that. So I might have screwed the voltage playing with ATT profiles.

It could be the ATT profile, either way it's easy to just save the bios with GPUz. Then get Radeon Bios Editor to check to see what's going on in the bios, more than likely you'll find it's using 1.2v for idle/2D and 1.26v for 3D.

If for some reason it's not running 1.26v on 3D, then just make the change in the bios file and flash it to the card using ATiflash. ( Don't use winflash )

I guess that when I've made my first ATT profile, regarding fan speeds, I saved it using the idle 1.2 voltage and didn't realized it. It's working fine now at 1.26V.
