This case has 2 rear 120mm exhaust fans and 1 front 120mm intake fan. All three fans have blue LED lights on them. The fan in the front stays solid 24/7 while the two fans in the back blink whenver the PC is on. Does anyone know why the two rear LED fans are blinking instead of staying solid?
The manual doesn't say anything about this but a friend of mine said that since the temps inside my case are so low, the motherboard is backing off on the amount of electricity it's sending to the two rear fans...thus, they are both blinking instead of staying solid. He claims that if the temps rise high enough in my case, the mobo will increase the amount of current to the rear fans and the LED's will probably stay solid at that point. Does this sound right?
The blinking is a constant pattern of five quick blinks followed by a short pause...followed by five more blinks. I'd prefer if it were solid or off altogther.
Here's a link to the CASE
If I can't figure this out I think I'm going to just snip the little LED lights off of the two fan cases in the rear. I didn't realize the two rear fans were going to be blinking non-stop when I bought this thing. It's okay when all the lights in my bedroom are on but if I'm watching a movie or playing a video game with the lights down it's pretty nerve wracking having the LED's running non-stop.
Thanks a lot for any suggestions!!
