For CPU cooling: TR 120 extreme. Northbridge having stock cooler. Memory having stock heatsink. what are the positive (+) limits on volts for each component when trying to achieve maximum OC. How max you can volt but preventing damage.

CPU: 1.45V (max for Q6600 on air)
Northbridge: ?
FSB:
DDR:

FOR motherboard P35-ds4- rev2.0

ok if not voltage, what are the temperature range for northbridge, FSB and CPU (max 60C i believe). So as to prevent damage on components. Again using stock coolers for p35-ds4 rev 2 and TR 120 E for CPU with 174 CFM fan.

anyone???

If I remember right the G0 Q6600 Intel spec is 75c (shutdown 100c) and 1.5v max but probably not adviseable. Just over the 1.4v mark should get you to 3.6GHz. I will see if I can find the datasheet.

I'm currently stable (Prime95 all cores for 9 hours) at 3.5GHz 1.37v 438x8 with FSB voltage up one click. DDR2 is running at 876MHz 1:1. CPU idling in the mid-30s and mid 50s at full load using CoreTemp 0.95.4. I have a fan on an arm blowing cool air for northbridge and RAM. My TR 120E is lapped but my CPU is not yet. I am still in the process of overclocking but keep wanting to stop to play games lol and to check full stability of course.

My DDRII is currently at 2.2v just to ensure that any instability is caused by CPU while I overclock but I will adjust down or up depending on what is needed once I start working on the RAM. You need to check Patriot specs and forums to find out what voltage the Patriot can take but remember cooling.

The same with the nb. I will adjust dependeant on what I need for overall stability. The most important thing is cooling as the chips will heat. I wouldn't really advise overvolting the chipset, northbridge or FSB voltage much above +0.35v (over the stock voltage).

Edit: Jeez, I typed this ages ago but never hit reply and then started playing a game. lol
