Pricing is looking to be what I expected...not a bad deal considering it outclasses the GTX260, just not as killer a deal, ~$349 MSRP would have been the sweet spot I think.

it's an Australian site, prices in North America will be much lower

in comparison, their 4850s are AU$269.81 and AU$272.25

Not if you know where to look, they're $229 AUD over here :). $379 is actually a good price for us, usually we get ripped off with computer products.

Here in SA we're paying nearly $400 for an HD4850! :( Why oh why must hardware be so incredibly expensive in this third world economy? Ai-ai-ai. But how does $750 for a GTX260 sound? :Q And $1100 for the GTX280? This is insane!

Edit:

Waitasec! Here's an HD4850 for just over R2400, thats $300. Wow thats cheap lol The Prophecy Shop

funny how the title says 1GB, but everywhere else on that page says 512MB. would be nice if there was a part number to confirm...
