Gigabit Routers?

Hey guys its my dads b day and he wants to run out to frys and get a new router. I wanta do some research to make sure we get the right thing.

I am looking for a wireless router that also has ports for gigabit connections... As of yet I havent seen any normal routers with gigabit connections... Is this not gonna happen?

If thats the case is there a best wireless router with ports? Looking for 4-8 ports.

I would much rather buy a Dell Gigabit switch with Jumbo frames and add a WAP to the mix.
