Gigabit routers

are there any gigabit routers for average consumers besides the dlink one?

Hmm.. the D-Link is Not a Giga Router, it is a 10/100 Router with a Giga switch.

If you want something else, you can buy a regular Cable/DSL Router with Giga Switch of your choice.

SMC makes nice inexpensive Giga switches that are Jumbo Farme Capable (The D-Link is Not).

there's no need for gigabit router perse, maybe gigabit switch.... Just the thought of having dedicated unmetered gigabit connection to my house from globalcrossing give me shivers...
