Gigabit Lan on UD3P?

Does anyone here actually have a true GB Lan using the onboard Lan of the hacintosh using the UD3P board or an add on NIC?

I have yet to achieve speeds of 60MBs for more than a second or two... It drops to 10MBs or less very quickly...

Please help.

Are you using this system as a hackintosh? If so, I recommend you state so in your OP as it will avoid confusion and possible moving of this thread to a more appropriate forum. Thanks.

sorry... I am using it as a hacintosh... I should have been more clear. Can you move this thread to the appropriate forum?

You need to specify how you installed your hack.. like for example I used the UD3P/R1000 installer. Also what are you pulling from? Are you sure its capable of transferring that quickly? Most NAS units aren't able to keep up with even Gbit.

Sounds like your source might be creating a bottleneck- or some other networking issue. Are you positive you get consistant gigabit speeds over the same connection with other machines? Whatever switch/router you're using is set up correctly, and you're using the right cables? (IE: Cat5e?)

I've set up quite a few EP45-UD3P based Hackintoshes (using the LifeHacker method as well) and gigabit Ethernet definitely works.

I think this is what you were asking for?
