Giga-byte 6800nu flickering on statup

I have a giga-byte 6800nu that on startup and when I touch the Nvidia logo on the lower right section of the screen will flicker on and off, but during regular use I don't see any issues.
Is this normal for this card?

I would really hate to have to RMA it as I have been able to unlock all 16 pipes without any artifacts.
This was happening before the unlock and I have placed an 80mm fan on the heatsink which cools it
nicely and is very quiet.

I am just afraid of it getting worse as right now it's not really a problem.
