giga byte 6800 ultra pci-e

just been looking at the GV-NX68U256D-B giga-byte 6880 ultra pci card cant find much info on it,
anybody know if this is a good card ?
I can buy it in the uk for 319.90 pounds sterling dunno what tht is in us dollars

6800 ultra is a good card. It's the best card for nVidia on the market today. And according to xe.com, £319 = $613 USD... that's pretty hefty over here for a 6800 ultra, though I don't know the going rate for cards in Europe. My best advice would be to shop around and look for a lower price as over here, it MSRP's for $500 USD (£260) and even that's steep. We can usually find it cheaper than that.

My advice would be to look for US run online stores that ship to the UK.

that is cheeap for uk normally 6800 ultras are around £400.00

i am just gonna have to buy different cooling when i go for SLI

Nah, screw the extra cooling. Also, look for 6800GT prices... they can easily be OCed to Ultra speeds and beyond, and the performance difference between them even at stock is very little.
