Gift from a friend (pic)

So I was visiting a friend this weekend and after arriving at his home he says, got something for you and pulls this out.

Its a S&W 915 9mm and he gave me two clips and 250 rounds of ammo.

Nice friend, eh?

He shot his girlfriend with the gun last week so he could collect the life insurance policy he just took out on her. Right now, he is telling the police that you hated the girlfriend because you were in love with him, and you think she stole him away from you.

What does your friend what you to do for him?

Nice gun by the way.

Nothing specific.....built a computer for him a few weeks ago, helped build a shop last year.

This would be considered a private party sale (face to face), which is legal in most states.

I wish I had friends like that.🙂

Whos Coppermine setup is that? I need some serious help setting mine up.
Sorry to be off topic, I'll make it up to you later today with some pics of my new toy 🙂

I can't believe there is any state that would just allow you to hand over a gun!

Sure. Its considerd a face to face sale. Many states allow this.

I just wish I lived in a state like that.

Are they a little strict in Maryland?
MD is almost as bad as CA. Any private sale of a regulated firearm (assault rifle or handgun) has to go through an FFL. The real bitch is that any handgun made after Jan 1, 2003 has to have an integrated lock system to be imported into MD and sold, which limits your choices in new handguns to a handful of models. My FFL is so paranoid about recent legal changes in MD that they won't do transfers on any handgun made after the fifties. Pretty aggravating.
