Gift for Grandpa

Hi. I'm going to visit my grandpa in a week or so, and wanted to get him a nice gift (doesn't have to be electronic) because I haven't seen him in a LONG time. Any advice? My price cap is $300.

Edit: He's a farmer if that helps.
Edit: He likes new (somewhat useful) gadgets.
 
Buy him a nice pocket knife(PM me for brands and advice) or a nice Leatherman multitool.

If he is a farmer he can user either of these daily and most farmers have crummy knives and a pair of cheap pliers... I'm thinking Leatherman. 😉

My grandpa is a farmer as well. Picks up cheap ass knives and then uses a bench grinder to sharpen them. Ahhhhh...Painfull to watch.

Get him a nice benchmade. And make him promise to wetstone it (show him how)
 
Does he smoke? You could get him a nice Zippo and fluid to go along with the knife/multi-tool that Crazyfool suggested.

Could he use a PDA? Would he have a use for it and would he be able to operate it?

Hmmmmm... does he have a lot of grandkids, or even great grand kids? Maybe a digital camera would be useful if he does? Maybe a digital camera bundled with a photo printer? Again, think about if he could operate it.

Ummmmmm... I think I'm out of ideas. 🙂

*EDIT* Oh... does he have a good chair that he likes? Every old man needs a comfy chair that's "his."
 
Thanks for the tips. I'm thinking a knife, like a benchmade or a sog seal 2000 😀, or a multi-tool like a leatherman will be nice.

Leatherman WAVE. My gf got me one and it is really useful.. $60 or so.
 
By bf mentioned me getting a knife. I have a summer job now until college starts at some crappy ice cream stand in the middle of nowhere. Pocket knives come in handy I guess, I agree that it would be useful to him🙂
