Has anyone else played this yet? I just installed it and played alittle of it. The game looks awsome but my system seems to be to slow for it. Is the game that much of a resource hog? Is there anything I can do to improve the gameplay? I've tried it on both WinME and Win2K. Here is my system...

did you download the latest patch? (they just came out with one) apparently the first retail was a bit buggy... try it out!
i dont actually have the game, but its what ive heard

Thanks Intake, I dl'ed the patch and it seemed to correct most of the hanging.

To answer your other question: yeah, the game is a huge resource hog. You don't need 60 fps to play this game, though. I've got a P3-933, 192 MB and GeForce SDR and I average 15 - 30 fps and only rarely does it dip below that. Feels very good and smooth at those rates. It's a spectacular game too. I feel bad that I don't get to play as those Meccs anymore. The Sea Reaper doesn't seem as fun so far.
