i dont know who underestimates John Fox. Loved him when he was the D coordinator for NYG. He ran a good D. He'd run a lot of corner blitzes with J.Sehorn and other DBs.

Of course I don't think the NYG line was as onpar with what is is now, but the DB blitzes are big risk, big reward.

He game planned real well against the NYG yest. and he had the players to match up.

I just felt the NYG needed to spread the D as much as possible. Any of the plays, even if they were run plays or shortpasses, anyone going downfield should have gone vertical as much as possible.

They should have featured Toomer or whatever tertiary pass catcher would have been left open since they rotated multi coverage bet. plax, shock, tiki.

Eli? A QB with QB pedigree has 'mechanic' problems? Right now, Chris Simms looks more sound in the pocket. A lot more.

I'm afraid that doesn't begin to cover it ... this was so bad it overshadows the 11-5 season
and really makes me think the Giants didn't belong in the playoffs at all!

I picked the Giants to win even though I didn't feel very good about their chances against the Panthers today, but I figured they would at least SHOW UP (!!!) ... for gods sake the Jets could easily have played a better game then this!

well, Giants D limped along the past few wks. However, they scoring 20points is acceptable, though you'd wish to have given up say 14points.

what failed was the Giant OFFENSE... and the offense wasn't missing any key players.

what failed was Eli, 3 picks, can't score w/o the ball, can't rest the D w/o the ball.

JohnFox prepared his team better, especially on D.

Your offensive game plan has to be outside of the box when it comes to JohnFox, Belichek, Parcells... these kinds of people...

but when your ball delivery player gives up the ball, and your line busts like a damn, you can't mount anything outside of special team points or defensive points off turnovers.
