Giant OCR road bikes

I'm looking for a road bike in the 700 dollar range. The guy at the local bike shop showed me different bikes from specialized and giant. When asked about Trek he said they usually charge more for the same components. After looking online a bit, it looks like the Giant OCR 2 or 3 could be in my price range.

Can anyone comment on the Giant OCR series?

And on a side note, I know the MSRP of bikes isn't what you really have to pay... how much can you usually talk a local bike shop down?

I don't ride an OCR personally, but I've heard good things about them. Have you test ridden it?

At that price range, I'm not too sure as to how much you can haggle since they probably aren't making that much from it and it's summer already. I say ask them to throw in accessories instead, like helmet, pump, pedals... etc. 🙂
