Giant bug attacks Germany

Text

OMG GIANT BUG!
Attacking crop fields right now.... or since you started getting it in your email.... whatever.
Thought you might like to see it. I found this on an optical illusion sight and hadn't seen it before.

...so is it a photochop or what the heck is going on?

That bug would have to be very high up in the air to look that big relative to the ground...

WTF? That makes no sense. a bug would not beable to live in the outer atmosphere...

or maybe the people at Google Maps are just laughing at us....

is it possible for some levels they use a high altitude airplane photography and that bug somehow got in the lens housing? The only thing I could think of....other than it just being a gigantic bug.

I thought these were satellite pictures?

"It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether they will consume the captive earth men or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the ants will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves."

This was on slashdot several months ago, it's a bug that got mashed between the glass on the slides when they scan the images. The bug is actually about 1mm long if I remember the article correctly.
