What is a good program that can be used for a company to copy an image to new computers that are being distributed to employees???

Something like Norton Ghost for example. I've used it somewhat in the past but don't remember how exactly it works. Is there any better software out there to use???

depending on the number of PC's, you could try Altiris. Deployment Solution 6.5 is fast for large numbers of machines at one time.

Another vote for True Image 9. It is easy to configure and use. Just bought a copy for my notebook (already installed on my desktop)

Ok well I'm trying to get a trial version of Norton Ghost. Some reason it asks for a password to unzip the encrypted files. Any ideas???

Have you checked your email? Often it is necessary to register with the company before downloading a trial version, and they often send a password or registration number in an email to you. :)

Ya, but no luck. This is a lot more trouble than it should be trying to get this trial software.

Acronis True Image trial works great and you can download and use it immediately.
