ghosting?

can anyone help me with this topic?

trying to find the best lcd monitor (price and quality) that minimizes ghosting so that u can play first person games

any help would be appreciated

You just need to make sure that the response time is below 20ms. For example, my NEC AccuSync LCD7v has a response time of 16ms, which looks great in shooters. I've never noticed any ghosting.

There are other factors concerned when purchasing an LCD, but response time is the one that causes ghosting. 25ms is ok, anything higher then 30ms is too slow. Ideally, 16ms or lower.

I bought mine from Dell for about $440. You can probably get it cheaper (<400) at newegg, but due to the risk of dead pixels I'd recommend Dell because of their 30 day guaranteed return policy.

No problem. Today alone I've recommended this monitor about 4 times, it's just that good. I play UT2003 and CS on occasion and there is literally no visible ghosting, and the colors are as bright if not brighter than my old CRT.

The NEC 1760NX version does have DVI, but from what I've heard the analog version is actually better. Auto adjust is very nice.
