Ghosting two drive with different size?

This might sound silly but is there a problem if I clone a 40G disk to a 80G disk? What will happen to the rest of the storage?
 
As long as the target is as big or bigger than the source (which it is) you will be fine. The rest of the storage will just be free space.
 
Yes, you can change partition sizes when cloning with ghost so you can use all of your new HDD's capacity.
