Blizzard has announced its plans to focus the company's console-development efforts on next generation consoles. As a result, StarCraft: Ghost has been indefinitely postponed while the company evaluates the new and upcoming next-generation systems.

"Like many in the industry, we've been impressed with the potential of the new consoles, and we're looking forward to exploring that potential further," stated in a press release Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "In addition to allowing us to determine the best course for StarCraft: Ghost, this review period will help us lay the groundwork for our future console games."

In the months ahead, the company will evaluate next-generation console hardware and technologies and determine the fate of StarCraft: Ghost.

Thats what I was thinking. DN 4 is the ULTIMATE vaporware. Since they've actually been actively working on it since right after DN 3 (1996).

screw that its all because of wow blizzard is WoW now. the end if you play wow you should be ashamed of your self. ive been wetting my pants over this forever and now they postpone it?!

It's cool that blizzard has the cash to make sure the game meets their expectations before ever making it out the door. Personally, everything I've seen on the game has always looked insanely dated, it didn't concern me that much since I can look past graphics, but I'm not surprised at the decision to just cut your losses and start fresh.
 
I'm still waiting for more details on that "secret" protoss mission in Brood war, where that terran dude(Duran, who I suspect is Xenga'la however you spell it) was working on the protoss/zerg hybird

I want answers about who he was and what was with that hybird.

You mean looks like this

It kinda sounds like the PC is going to lose a game to the X360/PS3/Rev if you ask me. Perhaps Ghost will now be a console only game but it wouldn't bother me if they'd come out with Starcraft 2...
