Ghost Recon

Anyone still play it? Saw that the next Splinter Cell is coming out soon, or already is out confused. Was thinking about re-installing it on the machine just to goof around.

SC3 came out about a month ago...its awsome. GR2 has been cancelled for PC, they are going straight to GR3. GR2 is on XBOX.

that was quite a fun game, too bad it is a tad bit on the easy side compare to the other Rainbow 6 games. (in game saves kinda spoiled it)

i used to play co-op when i lan with my friends, which we haven't done for about a year now. I've never been a big fan of the rainbow 6 type games but co-op is fun no matter what the game is. Even daikatana.

ever kill each other in close range with a sniper.... with the scoop on? heheheeh... teh fun. me and my friend did that; we eventually kept missing each other until we ran out of ammo, then I threw a grenade and we both died. everyone clapped in the room

i have gr2 on xbox and i couldn't figure out how to play any levels other than the first one. i beat it but it still only let me select that one. then on multiplayer on live it doesn't work without the updates and tthere was an error installing that so it doesn't work either

Um, you're useless as a human being Delete out any/all GR2 related saves/files on your XBox and try it again.

but yeah, anyways. . . *shurg* I'm going to reinstall it, plus the desert and jungle expansion packs. . . should pass a couple hours or so.

? easy? i couldnt keep my guys live. at least in R6(original) you know generalyl where the enemies are and the they arent blending with their camo into the woods(though the fact i had to play GR1 at 640x480, 16bit all low on a 466mhz, rage pro may have had something to do with it.

It was like "if the pixel moves, changes color, is off color or is shooting at you, shoot it."

in Solo mode, I could care less if my guys die (since I use Reserves exclusively). in the original one it was much harder, since AI is VERY flawed (especially for your guys: they see enemy but don't shoot).

in Multiplayer mode I have yet to experience that in GR. but i did play with R6 original and Black Thorns and all its so-called expansion (they are all the same thing with more guns and map, Steyr AUG all the way baby).
I would totally agree, it was a confusion in the least, since you literally don't have hitpoints, or room for error, everyone practically just camp and shoots whatever came in their way. of course, random Grenading and FlashBang is fun... (love to do that in the Bunker map hehehheehe)

I got it for Gamecube a long time ago (around when it came out). It was the first actual realistic war game I have ever played, took a while getting used to (not spraying, not rushing, etc). It was fun, but I hated how you had to beat each level solo before you unlocked coop.
