Ghost Recon Widescreen? (XBOX 360)

I have a standard 4:3 tv and when i play Ghost Recon in Single player mode i get widescreen with black bars.

However when i play multipkayer on live i get standard 4:3 full screen gameplay. WTF?

Is something not set right
 
XBOX 360.

I mean i multiplayer offers 1st nd 3rd person views but I want to be able to play those views in WIDESCREEN just like single player, not full screen
 
just because i went through the single player game in wide and got used to it. I have a 36 in tv so widscreen isnt bad at all in terms of size
