Ghost recon pc vs. 360

If this were Quake 2 with the need for a twitch-shot railgun, then I'd agree. But this is not Quake 2.

I view BF2 as very "arcadey." CS is quite a bit, as well.

I never played any previous GR titles, but I own GRAW for 360. I view it as a tweener. You can die very quickly (one or two shots, sometimes) and you really do need your teammates, but it ain't exactly Splinter Cell.

well i guess the question should also be whether the majority of those playing it on the pc would have hardware good enough to match the 360.

No way. Halo proved that non mouse and keyboard shooters can be done and done well. So now if there is a bad console shooter, you cannot blame it on the control scheme, but on the developer.

Unless your system is not up to par, i would suggest getting the PC version... even if it's not quite as good looking as the 360, it'll be much better to play with a mouse/keyboard than it is with a controller.

While older, "twitch" FPS titles were PC-musts for me, I see no issue playing almost every recent title on a console controller. It really depends on your system, and whether the devs squeezed out the 360's power, or squeezed out the power on your "brand-name-here" video card/cpu. It's a toss-up, and it usually boils down to whether or not I want to play it on my sofa or not.

Do you guys know if this game will be "arcadish" like other GR games or it will be more like BF2 or even CS ?

Thanks

Original Ghost Recon for PC != arcadish
