Is that "GX2 Dual Card" Quad SLI? If it is, why does it not have problems when the normal 7900GTX in SLI does?

Also, why does the GX2, a software-wise SLI setup, not have the same restrictions that normal SLI has?

I still wish some benches would actually show what Crossfire and SLI setups can really get when used correctly.

The GX2 is faster than any other card out now. I think it is being used correctly. Even though it has dual GPUs it's still obviously a single card, but it's use of SLI has pushed it to the front of the line.

Again, calm down Wreckage, I'm not debating the GX2's speed. Instead I'm questioning why benches are not showing the true performance gains that SLI/Crossfire can give.

I'm also wondering why the bench you link showed the "GX2 Dual card". Can you even have a GX2 in Quad-SLI yet? I thought the drivers for that were still in the making. Also, if it is Quad-SLI, and if the drivers for that are out, why did the bench only show a GX2 in a SLI configuration? Why not show the 7900GTX in SLI or X1900XT in Crossfire?
