ghost in the shell

i watched it and it left me confused as hell. i mean i got the general idea but some of the scenes were really weird.

i havent seen the movies, just watching the series so far. it's really good, i like it a lot. i am having trouble finding good wallpapers though. i am looking for one that has all the members of section 9, like a scene in the prelude to the 2nd gig episodes
 
I watched the '95 or '96 movie a couple times... quite impressed. I've never watched anime a whole lot, though.
 
The coolest thing about GITS/Shirow's stuff is the technology. The cool possibilities with military/espionage/weapon/computer technology is all so cool and somewhat realistic for the near future.
 
I'm not an anime fan, but I've considered renting GITS and GITS: Innocence, just to see what all the fuss was about. Would it be worth it for a non-anime fan?
 
watched the old movie -- it was decent. watched the new movie -- they talked way too much. still willing to try the tv series. the first episode wasn't bad.

the 1st gig has 26 eps and the second gig has 26 eps

ghost in the shell 2 innonance came out like a year ago is not more, you cam get it on DVD now
