I just watched "Scandal" where the major is talking to the "Laughing Man". He mentions that this was the third meeting. I know in "Chat!Chat!Chat!" she meet him, but I cannot find the other time. The only thing I can think of is that he is talking about meeting Togusa in the institution.

Yeah, I watched the movie (was kinda cool), but the first ep of SAC didn't really interest me enough to watch the rest.

I watched SAC and SAC2 because GITS has always been interesting to me. back to the first movie in the 90's, the the playstation 1 game. (awesome) So when SAC came out, then the new movie, it was really cool...

"Scandal" is episode 22 Kusanagi is getting her body replaced and Aramaki is looking for his lost bother.

"Chat" is episode 9 The episode that everyone is talking about if the "Laughing Man" is real person or not.

"Escape From" is episode 12 Togusa goes undercover at an institution for suffers of closed cyberbrain syndrome.

I did love the Playstation game, though.
