Ghost image only boots as "master"

I used a Ghost image to revive an old drive and it will only boot if I have it set as master and use another HDD as a slave. The thing was Ghosted while a single drive so I'm not sure what's going on... any suggestions? It will get to the desktop then freeze.

There is nothing about the image that would prevent it from working as a single master. More than likely your master drive is a Western Digital or one of the other brands that has TWO DIFFERENT jumper settings for master: one for "Single Master" and one for "Master with Slave". You MUST jumper it as a "Single Master" if you intend to connect it to the primary IDE ribbon by itself or BIOS won't recognize it.

Hoep this helps...
