Ghost city appears above river in China

they exist, just not in that spot...its sort of like a reflection if I understand correctly...

Here's an explanation. Actually, the city in the mirage is most likely another city down the river, past the distant horizon where the earth begins to curve (as visible to the naked eye).

Should be simple for someone to compare the skyline and buildings to others in the area.

It's just a mirage. I don't see anything magical/supernatural about this. It's a cool phenomenon, but nothing to be awestruck about.
