Ghost BU w/ HD on RAID controller?

Guys,

I have a spare hard drive and want to utilize it to back up my system drive via Ghost. With my system's drive connected to the onboard HiPoint controller, should I expect any issues under DOS? Will Ghost (ver5.1d) see the drive on the HiPoint controller? Or will I need to connect my system HD to a regular IDE connecter to accomplish the back up?
